Une plateforme compétitive de classe mondiale
ORAPEX est fier de faire partie de l'APS World Series of Philately, offrant aux champions un chemin vers une reconnaissance mondiale.
L’ORAPEX a une longue tradition d’expositions exceptionnelles présentées par des collectionneurs canadiens et internationaux de premier plan. Des expositions traditionnelles à cadres multiples aux expositions régionales, jeunesse et à un seul cadre, les collectionneurs et le public ont de quoi se régaler. Les cadres des expositions sont jugés par des personnes accréditées possédant une vaste expérience en collection générale et spécialisée. L’exposition est complétée par quelques expositions non compétitives, dont une Cour d’honneur, des cadres commandités par des clubs locaux et d’autres œuvres d’anciens exposants de l’ORAPEX.
En 2010, l’American Philatelic Society a accordé le statut de « Série mondiale de philatélie » aux expositions canadiennes de niveau national. Par conséquent, le lauréat du Grand Prix pour la catégorie Cadre multiple de l’ORAPEX est invité à l’événement Champion des champions aux Great American Stamp Show de APS, et le lauréat du Grand Prix pour la catégorie Cadre unique de l’ORAPEX est invité à l’événement Champion des champions pour les expositions à un seul cadre.
Formulaires d'exposition ORAPEX
En préparation à l’exposition, ORAPEX encourage les exposants potentiels à se familiariser avec le Manual of Philatelic Judging et à utiliser les ressources disponibles auprès de l’American Association of Philatelic Exhibitors. Le livre de David Piercey publié par la RSPC, Let’s Talk Exhibiting, fournit également des conseils sur la façon de préparer tous les éléments d’une exposition réussie.
