The Ottawa Regional Association of Philatelic Exhibitions (ORAPEX) is proud to announce the launch of its brand-new website, designed to showcase Canada’s premier national stamp show and provide collectors, exhibitors, and visitors with everything they need to know about this much-anticipated annual event.

Founded in 1961 and incorporated as a non-profit organization in 2021, ORAPEX is supported by the Ottawa Philatelic Society (OPS), the Alta Vista Stamp Club, and the Amicale des Philatélistes de l’Outaouais (APO). The show is recognized as one of the few National Stamp Shows held in Canada each year and holds a prestigious place in the American Philatelic Society’s “World Series of Philately.”

A Showcase of Philatelic Excellence

Every spring, ORAPEX brings together the best of the stamp world, drawing sponsors, dealers, exhibitors, societies, volunteers, and thousands of visitors to Ottawa. With more than 100 frames of exhibits, a bustling dealer bourse, and a full schedule of meetings, seminars, and study groups, the show continues to build on its reputation as a must-attend destination for collectors nationwide.

For younger enthusiasts, the Youth Booth offers hands-on activities, free stamps, and a fun introduction to the world of collecting. The event also culminates in the awards reception, a highlight of the weekend that celebrates philatelic achievement and provides an opportunity for networking and camaraderie.
